I just can't say enough great things about these Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins - I absolutely love, love, love them.

Because chocolate and pumpkin together are such a fabulous flavor combination.  If you've never tried it, you're seriously going to want to change that.

There's just something amazing that happens when pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and chocolate flavors collide.

There's just something amazing that happens when pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and chocolate flavors collide.  It's absolutely heavenly.

I got this super tasty recipe from my friend, Jenny.  She made these for an event we had at our school back when I was a teacher, and I was in complete love after just one bite.  I immediately asked for the recipe and starting making these tasty gems myself.

Jenny always calls these muffins Chocolate Chip "Puffins." - Do you get it?  Pumpkin + muffins = "puffins."  Clever, right?  A fun little cute name for some fun little muffins.

Loaded with semi-sweet chocolate chips and pure pumpkin puree, these muffins are tender and moist.  They're freezer-friendly, too, so you can easily save some for later or bake them up in advance.

They're just perfect for enjoying for Fall breakfasts or brunch.

But with all their pumpkin-and-chocolate yumminess, they're not a recipe you'll want to relegate to just Fall.

So during this Fall season, squirrel some cans of 100% pure pumpkin away in your pantry.

Because deliciously loaded with chocolate chips, these Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins are fabulous to enjoy all year long!

  17. For the pumpkin pie spice, is the amount 1 tablespoon? Or 1 teaspoon? I want to be 100% sure before I start.
